Hi there I am Ian, devoted husband to Heidi, my soul mate, and proud father of Raven Song and Petal. I was born and raised on the Westrand in Krugersdorp. This is where I met Heidi and in 1994 we went on holiday to Cape Town and we fell in love with the place. The rest is history.

I have never been one to conform to the so called norms of society but I would not call myself a rebel, I am an individual and would not let myself be pigeon holed or be a sheep that just follows blindly.

I don’t come from a religious background but my ancestors have had a strong spiritual influence on me. From my parents I learned the values of trust, loyalty and friendship and a strong sense of integrity, these values are core to the way I live my life. This is one of the reasons that Wicca appealed to me. Living Wicca for me is all about balance and karma, accepting responsibility for your actions and the consequences of these actions. I strive to add value in my circle of influence and believe that we can make a difference in this world.

I enjoy outdoor life and the ocean and being close to nature, especially when I am sharing these experiences with my family. My hobbies include sculpting and jewellery design and manufacturing, being creative and seeing the fruits of your labour are extremely fulfilling and satisfying.

I am currently walking the path of Wicca with Darkwolf as my mentor and teacher and I hope to one day give back as much as I have gained from her tuteralage. My short term goals and objectives for the Cape Town region are to try and grow the region in strength and depth and to shift paradigms and peoples perceptions of what Wicca is and what it is not. My spiritual journey has only just begun and I am constantly learning and growing and I look forward to sharing this journey and adding value wherever I can.
